The visual appearance of a website impacts user experience, from a user's perception of the website’s usability to a user's willingness to trust the website. Libraries must expand from examining the usability and feel of their websites to examining the visual appeal. This talk presents a UX study that examines the visual appeal of academic library websites. It provides examples of how libraries can improve their UX by analyzing the beauty of their websites.
