How can we better incorporate help and tutorials at the point of need for patrons? Does our design approach change if we view search systems also as learning platforms? We're examining these questions at Boston University Libraries as we begin redesigning our websites. This short talk presents some of our implementations and prototypes, focusing on research methods and analytics used to make decisions on the best solutions. We invite discussion and collaborators into this process.
